Warranty

General

The guarantee period starts on the day of purchase of the product. The warranty period is 24 months. The warranty period will not be extended by warranty work and replacement deliveries under the warranty. Please keep your proof of purchase. Repairs or replacements under guarantee are only valid with the original proof of purchase. Warranty and/or any complaints should be dealt with by the buyer through the (web) shop where the device was purchased.

Excluded from warranty
No warranty applies to

  1. damage due to external influences;
  2. less damage;
  3. inappropriate or incorrect use, as well as incorrect operation or loading, including but not limited to the use of leaky and/or incorrectly installed batteries and/or the use of non-original parts;
  4. incorrect erection or installation, for example by not observing the applicable safety regulations and/or the instructions in the operating, installation and/or assembly instructions;
  5. changes, additions and/or extensions of the unit;
  6. professional use;
  7. Alecto Baby products ordered outside the Alecto Baby webshop. You will have to return to the shop or webshop where you bought the Alecto Baby product.

    At all times, the decision about the application of the guarantee lies with Alecto Baby.

    Definitions
    The following definitions apply in these guarantee conditions:

    Consumer: the natural person who is not acting in the exercise of a profession or business and enters into a distance contract with Alecto Baby;

    Alecto Baby: Hesdo B.V. located in 's-Hertogenbosch.

    Content and scope
    If there are any defects within the guarantee period, Alecto Baby will decide whether your unit will be repaired or replaced free of charge. Replacement parts or devices become the property of Alecto Baby. Consumables (components that can be expected to need replacing during the lifetime of the product) and accessories are NOT covered by the guarantee. This includes batteries, antennas, remote controls, cords, buttons, battery covers and other such accessories. 

    Counterfeit products
    When you buy our products directly from Alecto Baby or from an authorised Alecto Baby dealer, you can be sure that you have a genuine Alecto Baby product. Only these genuine Alecto Baby products that have been bought at Alecto Baby or an authorised Alecto Baby dealer are covered by Alecto Baby's limited warranty.

    When you purchase our products from an unauthorized Alecto Baby dealer, the product is only covered by Alecto Baby warranty if the unauthorized dealer can prove with a detailed invoice and proof of payment that the product was actually purchased from Alecto Baby or an authorized Alecto Baby dealer. 

    Alecto Baby does not guarantee counterfeit products. If you try to resell such products, you can be held legally responsible and / or prosecuted.
